We had a party of seven, and everything was fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks, chips, and salsa were always refilled. We were celebrating our 6-year-old's birthday, and the team went above and beyond by singing Happy Birthday to her, which made her feel so special. As an added treat, the birthday girl received delicious sopapillas for dessert! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed eating at Mamacita’s today! Fajitas were tasty, salsa was spicy but not too much. Tortillas were so good! My child finished her hamburger, which never happens. Ceviche was a bit disappointing, too much lemon juice for my taste. Fish and shrimp they used was not what I was expecting. But server was great and quick. We were seated in a nice area, not too many people around. We were visiting from New Orleans area, we definitely don’t have good Tex-mex restaurants like this back home.

I am amazed how good the Mexican food is at this place. My wife and I have been coming for years and it is always delicious. We will be here again and again. The staff is fantastic!!

Ordered lunch for a party of 10. We had grilled chicken and beef salads. One salad had a live cockroach. When I called, the manger wasn’t very apologetic. He actually tried to justify by saying they get regular pest control. Our group was so disgusted everyone threw their meals away. I will never order or eat from here again. Unacceptable and disgusting. They didn’t even offer any accommodation.

Mi esposa and I go to Mamacita’s every Cinco de Mayo like it’s a sacred family tradition 😂🌮🍹. Every single year we wear our Mexican Pride shirts, grab margaritas, and take pictures like we’re on the cover of a fiesta magazine 💃🇲🇽📸. That’s why I was lowkey heartbroken the outdoor margarita/photo area wasn’t there this year… ¿Dónde están mis fotos y margaritas afuera?! 😭 The wait was about 30 minutes, but honestly on Cinco de Mayo that’s basically “VIP timing” 😂. The watermelon margarita was ABSOLUTELY divina 🍉🍹. Now the birria empanadas? Ehh… no me encantaron. The flautas were giving “dry and unseasoned,” but it’s okkkkk. You live, you learn, you order something different next year 😂. Overall we still had a great time, the vibes were fun, the drinks were amazing, and we’ll definitely be back next Cinco de Mayo because apparently this is our annual personality now 🇲🇽😂

We went for Mother’s Day lunch to our favorite restaurant. Usually we brag about their food to our family and coworkers, but food was really disappointing this Mother’s Day. Charro beans was cold uncooked ingredients mixed together like raw bacon and onions mixed in water. We ask the server about it he changed the cup but he brought back the same thing. Fajitas meat had no flavor. It was just a flavor less and salt less piece of meat. I had ordered chicken tortillas soup which was so salty I could barely eat. I took out few pieces of chicken and ate that. Rest I took it home to fix it. Such a disappointment on Mother’s Day.

Updated 4/25/26: took an out of town guest here. They, of course, loved it saying the food is so fresh. This we already knew. But, the service tonight was over the top on a Saturday night! one of the best Mexican places in Clear Lake. Have seen many come and go. This one hopefully is for keeps

I don't know how I've lived here this long without knowing Mamacita's does breakfast, but I'm so glad I found out! Delicious huevos divorciados, and the corn tortillas are so soft. Arturo was a very pleasant and quick server. We will definitely be back.

Every person there was very nice. From the greeter, the hostess, the waitress and the man who fills the chips and salsa. Our waitress was especially nice and very helpful with helping to figure out what to order! She went above and beyond and it's so nice to see that, for a change. And everything was delicious!

Update...04/02/26. Have to give a huge thumbs up for Abraham in the bar! He is always spot on with excellent service! Again, love this place food and service always great! .we live in Galveston and come here when we want Mexican food.. always great food and service.. Always great food and service never a miss! Angie took care of us today and was awesome!!!! Excellent service as usual, Fish is always outstanding. I don't know how he bartends and waits the patio. We had breakfast today and it was great.

I want going to say anything, but this has happened to me a LOT in the last few weeks, and I'm fed up! I ordered beef fajita street tacos with extra cilantro and onion because they never put enough, and this is still what I got (it won't let me post a picture. Other than ONE TACO, it's solely tortilla and meat😡😡😡). Bottom line, if you're a to go customer, or order online, Mamacita's could care less about your business😡😡😡

My son and I needed to kill some time, so we stopped here. There was construction in the parking lot, abs we worried they were closed. I'm glad we stopped by though. The food was wonderful. I got a fish meal in white wine sauce, i wish I could spell the name. My adult son got a half quesadilla and it filed him up. He said it was the best he'd had. I'm glad we got here early because, for a Monday night, it got busy!

I love this restaurant. They have the best breakfast lunch and dinner. I’ve been coming here since I was about two years old. The staff is great and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
