We recently had EJ & JR Concrete replace our driveway, sidewalk, and patio, and we could not be happier with the results. This family-owned business truly went above and beyond from start to finish. The owners and their family were extremely communicative throughout the entire process and absolutely over-delivered compared to what was included in the original quote. They were respectful of both our time and exactly what we wanted done, and it showed in every detail of the project. One thing that really stood out was how much care they took with our property. They protected the grass in our front yard, added extra dirt and sand where needed to properly support and protect the new concrete, and paid attention to details many companies would overlook. During the project, they discovered sections of the old driveway that had been improperly reinforced with rebar and were breaking apart. Instead of doing a quick patch repair, they cut out and fully replaced the affected section at no additional charge. That level of integrity is hard to find. Our stamped patio turned out absolutely beautiful — honestly a dream patio for us. They also helped level areas where dirt had built up from old raised garden beds, even though that was beyond the original scope. They initially tried to preserve the area until I let them know we planned to level it anyway, which again showed how thoughtful and considerate they were. The crew was fantastic as well. While most of the crew primarily spoke Spanish, they always found ways to communicate effectively and make sure we understood what was happening. From demolition to completion, the entire job was finished in just 4 days, and the quality exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend EJ & JR Concrete to anyone needing concrete work done. In April 2024 we had contracted EJ & JR to redo our driveway. We had issues with water from the driveway backing into the garage after rainstorms. He did a complete regrade of the driveway and after the recent rains no water seeped into the garage. He also did a good job of cleaning up when he finished. He really cares about the work he does.
